Christian/Protestant Wedding
Christian weddings will be led by a Protestant Priest. The documents required for Christian weddings include: a copy of both of your passports, copy of birth certificates from you and your fiance´(e) and photos. After the ceremony you will receive a certificate of marriage from the Protestant Church in Bali.
A Protestant wedding is also a religious wedding which is led by a Protestant Celebrant who is called a pastor. This is a fairly easy wedding ceremony to perform, because it doesn´t require much paperwork. The couple will receive a ´Certificate of Marriage´ from the Protestant Church in Bali. If the couple chooses to legalize their marriage, they can then proceed with the Civil Ceremony on the same day and at the same venue. Afterwards, they will receive another certificate of marriage from the Civil Minister which will be in both English and Indonesian. These certificates are also deemed legal in your home country.
