Buddhist Wedding

Buddhist WEDDING Blessing should be performed at Vihara (Buddhist temple) and led by the Pandita or Buddhist Monk.

In order to perform a Buddhist Wedding Blessing, you must abide by the rules and regulations of the Buddhist Society which is called WALUBI. You are required to submit the following documents:

• 1. Copy of passport (both partners)
• 2. Copy of KTP (Kartu Tanda Penduduk) for Indonesian
• 3. Copy of birth certificate (both partners)
• 4. Copy of ´Absolute Divorce Decree´ if either of you has been married before
• 5. Copy of death certificate and previous marriage certificate (if widowed)
• 6. 8 photographs size 4 x 6
• 7. Letter of ´No Impediment to Marriage´ which must be legalized by a representative at your embassy or consulate in Bali/ Indonesia, certifying that there is no objection to your getting married in Indonesia.
